Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care (CHC50113 )

This qualification covers workers in Early Childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in Early Childhood Education and Care services. This qualification will enable you to implement approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. You may acquire the responsibility of supervising volunteers or other staff members.

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care will run for approximately 1-2 years, including 240 hours of work placement. However, the duration for each learner will depend on each individual’s skills and knowledge.

All JTI students use blended modes of learning which include:

  • ·        Classroom based learning (face-to-face)
  • ·        Online learning (through our learning management system and online classes)
  •        Work Placement 

The compulsory requirement for this qualification is 240 hours of work placement. Delivery of work placement hours are determined by the facility and your specialisation.
